You never know where life will take you. If you had told me when I first first started sculpting that I would spend time with a master sculptor in Greece, I would have called you crazy! Life has been full of twists and turns, which led me to spend time on the island of Tinos at Petros Dellatolas’ studios. This work was inspired not only by the adventures of life but also by the depth of knowledge Petros shared with me. He taught me how to read the grains of Tinos marble and how to work with the stone’s natural strength to create sweeping curves. This twist is designed to accent the grain of the marble from multiple angles and represent the many changes in direction our lives take.
